It is no secret our girls’ basketball team are returning 4A state champions. After their path to success, their only hope is to reclaim their title. They go by the motto “#REPEAT” in the hopes of repeating their triumph. Assistant Coach Trask stated that their schedule is quite unique, having to play 5A teams all season long and 4A teams during tournament play. Trask stated their hope is to improve on their conference standing and compete with those 5A teams. Trask also states that there are lots of openings for girls to step into after losing eight seniors. The team will have five returning seniors, as well as eight players that were on the state championship team. The girls will have their Hall of Pride game on Tuesday, November 15th against Garner-Hayfield Ventura in the MCHS Gymnasium. The JV game begins at 5:30 with Varsity to follow at 7:30 pm.
