Mason City Mohawks will be on break from December 23, 2016 to January 2, 2017. To figure out what everyone was doing, there was a survey conducted. According to the polls, 95.9% celebrate a holiday and only 4.1% don’t. Almost everyone taking the survey celebrates Christmas which was 95.2%. 1.1% celebrate Kwanzaa, 1.1% celebrate Hanukkah, and the remaining 2.6% celebrate other holidays or nothing at all. 96.4% answered “Yes” to being excited for break, 3.1% answered “Not really”, and 0.5% answered “No”. There were seven things to choose from for what to do over break and they were spending time with family with 48.7%, other with 15.4%, sleeping with 13.8%, watching Netflix with 7.7% travelling with 7.2%, homework with 4.6%, and playing in the snow with 2.6%.
