The MCHS German Trip will be begin this Monday, June 4. Some twenty students will be boarding the plane at the Minneapolis Airport and departing for Atlanta Georgia at 11:30 AM Monday morning. From there, the next stop is Munich Germany, where the students will arrive at 8:40 AM German time. The first three days will be spent seeing the sights in Munich, before traveling to Garmisch for three more days. The next stop is Dresden, which will for sure be a spectacular experience.
On June 11th, the family stay portion of the trip will begin, and the students will begin living with their respective host families for the following six days. The students are then reunited as a group at Hamburg, where they will finish their trip before flying home via the Paris airport. The students will partake in several activities such as touring castles, visiting museums, sightseeing amongst mountains and nature, and even getting to see a German stage production of The Lion King. It would be an understatement to say that these students are excited to immerse themselves in the culture and beauty of Germany, and it will definitely be a once in a lifetime opportunity they will always remember.
