This year’s prom will be held on April 21st in the MCHS FEMA Room. The theme for this year’s prom is a “Golden Night In Hollywood”. According to Jolene Jackson, prom advisor,, the year’s event will start with a “Red Carpet” promenade past paparazzi. Names will be announced as couples enter the “golden theater”. Guests will then proceed to the grand entrance of the theater and can either take left to the Hollywood Star Cafe, or a right into the dance. The cafe will be offering an assortment of appetizers, desserts and drinks, all catered by the MCHS Culinary III team.
Throughout the evening, couples will be able to make their mark on one of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars. The prom committee will also be compiling a 3-hour dance list of students requests, with the dance floor having colorful lights and plenty of room for moving around in. There will also be outside seating for those who need to cool off throughout the night. Best Impressions Photography will also be there taking professional pictures in the “ Hollywood Studio”. This year’s prom is shaping up to be a night to remember!
