Mason City High School’s Associate Principal, Mr. Dan Arjes, has recently accepted a new position in the Mason City School District. Mr. Arjes will be the new principal at Roosevelt Elementary School. He served the High School students and staff for the past four years and has too many memories to count.
According to Mr. Arjes, his favorite memories are ones with students. When he sees a student walk across the stage at graduation. he remembers helping them grow and succeed. The most significant thing he has learned in his time here at MCHS is that you need to take care of the people you work with.
He will miss the staff, as he remarked it by saying that it is a perk of working here to have such a great office staff. He claims that they act as a family, sharing the laughs each day. He is very excited to start his new job as Principal at Roosevelt Elementary School here in Mason City, and is looking forward to the new challenge of working at a different level, and creating more relationships for the years to come.
