On October 6th, Mason City Sophomores attended NIACC Explore!, an event giving students the opportunity to attend classes at NIACC for careers that interest them. Students from all over Iowa attended this event to learn about the different career paths that NIACC offers. This includes business (marketing/accounting), personality testing, self defense, physical therapy, and even law enforcement! The sophomores got to select different classes they were interested in, and were able to attend three of them during that day. Students commented that the event helped students explore possible future careers, which proved useful to those who were uncertain of their future. To conclude the event, touring acapella group Vocalocity put on a sensational performance for the MCHS Sophomores.
