Homecoming is right around the corner, and with it comes a whole lot of fun events and activities. Here’s a rundown of the 2017 Homecoming Week, September 23-September 30, at MCHS. T-Shirts are for sale now until the 18th in the Commons during Mohawk Pride Time and in the morning before school, $10 for a short sleeve and $15 for a long sleeve. Tickets for the Homecoming Dance are on sale from the 26th to the 28th for $10 before school and during MPT.
Throughout the week, Mohawk Pride Times will be participating in a game of Clue to solve the mystery of Mr. Arjes’ demise.. Mr. Arjes’ body was found with the deflated Homecoming football. We will solve the mystery of who did it with clues revealed daily!

Saturday, September 23
Hallway Decorating 10 am-2 pm
Seniors are Candyland, Juniors Operation, Sophomores Mousetrap, and Freshmen have Pac-Man.
Pizza and Game Night 6-8 pm
Sunday, September 24
Float Decorating 12:30 pm (Same decor as above per class)
Hallway and Float Judging 4:30 pm (In the Commons)
Powderpuff game at 6:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds go toward natural disasters like Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Monday, September 25
Power-Down Monday, aka Pajama day!
Tuesday, September 26
Trillionaire Tuesday, aka Dress-Up day!
Volleyball has a home game versus Fort Dodge at 7:30 pm
Swimming has a home meet versus Marshalltown at 5:30 pm
Wednesday, September 27
Rainbow Road, aka Class Color day! Seniors are Mint Green, Juniors are Yellow, Sophomores are Sapphire Blue, and Freshmen are Orange.
Thursday, September 28
The Game of Life, aka Career Day!
Friday, September 29
‘King Me’ Mohawk Day!
Morning of service in the community, 9-11 am
Pep Assembly and Coronation 1:10 pm
Parade to Central Park, via State Street, 2:00 pm.
