With Homecoming just around the corner, dance proposals left and right, and school activities in full swing, there’s plenty to be excited about this fall. Student Senate has been working hard to organize class shirts, dress up days, hallway decoration themes, a drive-in theater, and so much more!
Marcus Buttweiler, our Student Senate president, weighed in on the progress being made for the upcoming dance; “We’re right on schedule and working hard, we hope that the student body appreciates and enjoys all that we are doing to make this a great Homecoming!” If you know someone that is on the fence about strapping on some heels or throwing on a suit, Marcus has this word of encouragement, “Definitely go! You don’t have anything to lose by going, plus you can break it down at the dance floor”.
There’s no doubt that the weeks leading up to homecoming provide enthusiasm and school pride; there’s something fun for everyone to get involved in. It’s a time to step out of your comfort zone, ask that special someone to the dance, or just go and have a great time with friends. After all, Mohawks Just Wanna Have Fun!

Oct. 5th-Mohawks Just Wanna Have Fun- Red and Black
